Breakup reason

There are various kinds of breakup reasons, but the one I am talking about seems to be silly.
My colleague's son is 28 and his girlfriend is 29. Actually the boy ordered a special place and planned to propose to her at the end of this month. And then they will get married on October 10 as it seems it is a good date.
In this Mid-autumn Festival (Sep.10) the girl would go to his parents home to have dinner together. The boy called her after 4pm but she was sleeping at that time and didn't answer the phone. She woke up after 6:30pm and asked the boy to pick her up. The boy said it was the rush hour and it's better she got a taxi. Then they had a quarrel and finally broke up because of this. They soon deleted each other's contact ways and everything seemed to be gone instantly.
That's it. They broke up and it looks like they would never be together any more. I am just sighing to it. I could understand it if the reason would be much more reasonable.

Maybe the problems were simmering under the surface and this was just the last straw that broke the camel's back. They two of them might never know the real reason that they broke up, it was just not meant to be.
