Released After Three Months

My brain surgery was three months ago on Saturday, July 1st. Had my post-operative visit today with the Neurosurgeon. Everything looks great. I am released, after three months of recovering. He told me a few things to watch out for and to call him any time if I have any symptoms. The best doctors I have ever had are at Vanderbilt in Nashville. I cannot say enough about the entire Neurology staff that took care of me. Amazing the focus and concentration it must take to be a brain surgeon. So happy this is behind me. @CarolDM But do follow whatever your doctor has advised you to do. I still do physio therapy and it was in the year 2006 I had that ghastly accident.

@Juliaacv Yes you are so right about that. I follow my calendar closely as it is. I certainly hope you are right. As I sat in the office waiting on the doctor today, I did not feel anxious and nervous as I did before. I knew it was all behind me.

Thank you Anna. I was pleased. He told me a few precautions and things to watch for but for the most part the exertion headaches are gone. Very happy indeed.

@LadyDuck These were the worst headache in my life. Like the top of my head was exploding. Exertion, like sneezing, coughing, bending, anything would bring it on. All gone now.
