We have had a leisurely morning and are heading out to a hospital for Bob's Trans esophageal EKG. (TEE)
It involves putting a scope down his throat to "see" the back of his heart, the upper chambers and the valves.
They will not give us the results for a month, we were told. Yikes.

The doc said he did not see anything in the way of damage to the valves or to the pacemaker.

He was sedated but not "out". He had to be able to do things they asked, like swallow, turn over, etc. He also had a lot of numbing spray in his throat. He was not allowed to drive for two days afterwards.

I hope your results were good. He has had an endoscopy before to look in his digestive tract.

It did go well. The procedure itself was very short, but the signing in and prepping took a while.

Well, Dr. A said what he saw was good. I guess the results in a month are the EKG part.
