This one seems to be better than the last one already.
I thought this was a one-shot, but no--I've started yet another series. Well, trilogy, but it still goes longer than one book.
Right now, I'd like to do something, but I'm not sure what. My allergy/sinus troubles are fogging up my head and making it a bit hard to concentrate, but I'll do something.
Hope that your morning/afternoon/evening/etc. is going well with you in your part of myLot land!

First and foremost, make sure that your allergy/sinus troubles are just that. That they aren't a respiratory infection. I have been dealing with what I thought was allergies and have been laid low for over two weeks. I'm still coughing and having some lung congestion. Hopefully in the next couple of days that will clear up. As I said in my discussion, I am finally feeling like doing things again. Some I've put off because of my worrying about passing on the infection, others were just because I didn't feel good enough to do anything.
I "borrow" a LOT of books through Amazon. A lot of them are crafting books. The others I have borrowed are mysteries. One of my favorites is "Mysteries of Max", which features cats who actually can communicate with their people and help them solve murders and other situations. It was well worth the money to buy the Kindles because of the amount of money I've saved in not having to buy the books outright from a bookstore. I also have downloaded several word games that stimulate my thinking, and then of course Solitaire. Anyhow it's nice to know another Amazon fan. Hope you enjoy the book!
Have a great day, your section of the state is about the same as my area. We're up around 70 degrees right now, so it's going to be another "warm" day. So, stay cool and take things easy, don't push yourself in case what you have isn't just allergies/sinus troubles.

Thankyou, Toni--Right now, everything is in my head/face--nothing in my lungs. I have a Kindle Paperwhite, but haven't learned how to use it yet. I've gotten many of my books from Thriftbooks.com.

@xstitcher I have the Kindle Fire, two of the Kindles, and the one that you get the books on (although you can get them on any of the other kindles). I will say that it is so nice getting the books through Amazon for either free or a low price. I totally love being able to get my books that way. With everything that's going on in my life, it's nice not having to travel to the bookstore to get my books or magazines. The nearest bookstore to me is about 20 miles away (one way trip). Plus taking mass transit opens me to any "bug" that is going around. Also, even though it's only 20 miles to the bookstore, it's a three-hour trip to get there and back. There are other stores I want to stop at to pick up supplies for the bears...
I don't know how your temperature is up in Petaluma, but right now we're at 90+ degrees here in Atascadero.

Sorry about your allergies.
I love the cover of that book.
