I have a thing. I like the blinds for one of the windows in my office that peers into the warehouse to be closed.
No real reason other than it's my thing.
But of course, the other guys in the office know this happens to be a pet-peeve of mine, and so they see fit to constantly open my blinds. After several of such occasions today I decided to booby trap the pull cord that opens the blinds.
Let's see who gets the last laugh now, you incorrigible irritants of my daily life.

When I shared a classroom I liked to keep the blinds totally open pretty much all the time. I hated when other teachers would come in and put them down. . . or even worse--put them down at different levels. I don't have OCD but that made me nuts.

As @MALUSE said, we all have our irks and quirks, although she put it in a way that I have not seen in English before, but of course means the same thing. That blind, that faces the warehouse, I just want down, and that's that. For another reason, I keep the blinds up for the window that faces the warehouse that is close to the door—I want to know who is coming into the building. And the one facing the parking lot, I enjoy the sunshine coming in.
The other one I just want shut.

@DaddyEvil I actually snapped a picture and sent it with a devil face to our group text, then took it off of there in case someone decided to try it out. lol

It's the same way in my office, but with my computer. My office is back in the receiving department, and I work during the days. On nights and weekends, I have two supervisors who work under me that use my computer to process purchase orders and other paperwork. I like for my computer screen and keyboard to be set in a certain way, and the two supervisors always adjust my screen and keyboard when they work, and then I have to fix everything when I come in each morning. It drives me crazy. Like Jill said, I'm not OCD either, but it drives me nuts when I have to rearrange everything on my desk to my liking.

I would like to see what happens to the person who messes with the blinds in your window that you want to be closed. Their reaction when they get bit will be priceless to hear them scream in pain.
