One of the things I love in the mornings is to make coffee and then walk on to my narrow balcony from where I can view the sunrise over a nearby hill. It's a glorious sight each morning and is also different every day! It was cloudy for a couple of days, but today it's been clearing up a bit. I love it when the sun shines from between the clouds and i get to see the sun rays beaming out in different directions. It's a constant reminder that the sun is a constant and even clouds can't obscure it constantly. PS: I'm reposting this with a better discussion as the previous one was too short and flagged (apologies for my ultra short post!)

I also like to have coffee and open the French door to look the sunrise from my balcony.

@LadyDuck my balcony is terribly narrow and small. But I'm glad it faces east and there's some open space towards that direction.

I have not seen a sunrise in some time. First it was the ongoing continuous rain and now the ongoing renovation work. I sleep late after all cleaning up and wake up after 6. Else I would never miss sunrise. I wake up at 5 usually. That's a beautiful picture. Sorry that your last post was flagged. Admin made a post about the same some time back. Ultra short posts would be deleted.

5 is waaaay to early for me. I'm lucky to have a hill nearby that hosts my sunrise!! The older Post was way too short. Glad these rules exist to keep the site functioning better.

@pitstop I have to do a lot before I leave for work at 7:45. I don't want to miss some me time and exercise. It's been a habit for years. From a very young age, I have been a morning person. Yes, good that admin has made such rules to keep the quality of the site.

That's a beautiful photo! I wish I could see either sunrise or sunset from my house but there are just too many trees surrounding us...

@pitstop I live in southern Missouri, close to the middle of the continental US. We have a large yard around our house. I like where we live.

It gets very hot when the clouds completely disappear. So I hope some of the clouds stay back and there is still the occasional rain. That makes the climate more pleasant.
