A six month old female cat who was nicknamed Buzz Lightyear because she had a jar the covered her head had the good luck that a concerned animal lover in Fall River Massachusetts was walking in the streets on Friday called Fall River Animal Control for help. The Fall River Animal Control contacted the Animal Rescue League in the same city to do their part to save the cat from suffocation due to the jar on her head. The cat was captured by the Animal Control League officials by using a drop trap to catch the cat as well as four other street cats in the area. The cats were then taken to the ARL Dedham Animal Care And Adoption Center after the jar was removed from her head where the cat was cleaned up after spending time on the streets. The good news is that cat is in good health, she was spayed and neutered. The cat will be placed up for adoption. I am hoping that the cat will be adopted by a loving family soon since the cat looks a lot like my cat Tweet Tweet.

I hadn't thought about a cat dying of suffocation from a jar on her head but I guess it's a strong possibility.

@Deepizzaguy Those are more obvious to me but I hadn't thought about lack of air.

A cat could also die of hunger and thirst of they have a jar over their heads.

@JudyEv That is okay. I do see programs on the dangers of getting into trouble by humans and animals with dealing with having objects on their heads.

Another animal with a jar on its head. I guess they try to get a bit of food wherever they find it. I hope it’s adopted to a good family.

I would be scared myself if I saw a cat with a jar on his or her head.
