Went to visit the kitty again...

To check on his food and water...and just to give him some petting. I know cats are supposed to be more independent than dogs, but I still feel bad about an animal being by itself.
I checked his water and food, which seemed okay, and gave him some petting.
Much like a dog (it seemed to me) he went over to the sliding glass door and looked out. Made me think of a dog waiting for Mom (or whoever) to come home.

Cats are more social then most people think they are. That's why if you plan to be gone more than twenty-four hours, you get a pet sitter. They do need company from time to time and can develop separation anxiety from their people. So, you're doing a good thing helping out like this.
