I went to visit the kitty and check on his food and water. When I got to the apartment, the key was in the door. I turned and opened it, and the lady was right there (though I noted the cat came running to the door). Evidently she came home before the rest of her family (she left after them, too). So, kitty's not going to need me until whenever else they go somewhere for a few days. I'm kind of bummed--I enjoyed going over there to see him. Hopefully she'll ask me again sometime.
