My office has postponed my retirement

I was to retire from my job today but my office has decided to postpone my last working day. I will now be working for the entire month. Will start my retired life from 1st November. May have some time to go on a holiday before Christmas. Let's hope there is no change in the date again

I hope they don't change your retirement date again. Hope you enjoy a nice holiday before Christmas. I was so happy when I was finally able to retire. That was back in 2005.

The Diwali celebrations in office will be fun for the younger crowd. Nothing that I enjoy. Every year I am busy at my desk and hardly get change to take part in any of the activities happening around me.

Not too happy. But then I thought to myself it's just a couple of weeks more. Today I looked at the calendar and realized its just 6 working days more now as we have some holidays in between.
