I Hope Being Patient Will Pay Off

So, I have been paying attention to anything about how the Jan.6 insurrection litigation is going. I know that they are doing a very thorough job and it is an astronomical amount of work to be done. But, I try to be patient and realize that they are being thorough for a reason.
The next hearing is tomorrow.
Trump has obsessively done all he could to destroy American democracy. He was aware that people who came to see him were armed. What is coming out is both bizarre and amazing. What a man will do to retain his office and overthrow the American order. Rachel Maddow said a good one: "Disgrace is its own form of accountability."
I have never been a patient person but I know that they have to establish the case beyond any possible doubt. They have already done a lot and now I just hope that waiting for the rest to come out will be well worth the wait.

The problem I see with them going so slowly with the case is that Dump will die of old age before he ever gets arrested.

I don't think it's that bad but close. I do want them to do a good job and have a good case so they can get him for good.

@celticeagle Since they're finally digging into his past, they'll have enough stuff to jail him but he'll try to get out of going to jail because of his age, I'm willing to bet on that. (I'm thinking his real attorneys were letting him do all the crazy stuff so they could claim senility and keep him out of jail that way... His pretend attorneys won't know how to use that for him, I don't think.)

@DaddyEvil .......He can only delay things for so long. I have seen stories where old folks go to jail. Senility? I think they started whirling that around while he was still in office and doing bizarre stuff. I guess we will have to wait and see. I will be very angry if they don't get him for back taxes and several other things. Not right for him to keep getting away with things. I am glad they are going back in his history of fraud and evasion. Karma is catching up with him.
