I like to use bleach, or an all-purpose cleaner, in my bathroom. I like the bleach smell right after cleaning. I feel good about the cleanliness after that because I smell that bleach. I don't mind the smell, although I know some people can't handle it. It gives me a feeling of being truly clean and I like that in my bathroom.
So, give me a pair of rubber gloves and some bleach and I'll turn the bathroom squeaky clean.

I sure do agree. Several of the cats like to climb into the sink in the upstairs bathroom. If that sink is cleaned with bleach they are less apt to do so. I have all most poured water on one of them when I went to wash my hands in the dark. If they hadn't moved or meowed I would have.

Many people do. I always disliked the smell of Lysol Toilet Cleaner when I was pregnant. I think it had some bleach in it.

I prefer Dettol since it has a nice smell but bleach is okay too.

Just make sure that if you use the bleach in the toilet that you flush the toilet first. Your urine contains ammonia and ammonia and bleach are a lethal mix. I am very careful when I scrub the litter box for that reason. (Since I live in an apartment the cats and I share the bathroom...I use the toilet and they get the litter box coz they can't reach the flush lever for the toilet.
