We're going to Melbourne in December

The photo doesn’t match the text but is another of the kangaroos that were fighting the other night. They have seen Vince but were too far away to be worried by him. Look at the forearms on that middle guy. I wouldn't want a bear hug from him. There are four more photos but they are all variations on a theme so I probably won’t put them up unless I get stuck for photos.
Vince and I have two sons. One lives in Melbourne, in the state of Victoria. We are going to visit him for a few days in December. Our other son and his wife life in Co. Mayo in Ireland. We haven’t seen any of them since covid hit.
For various reasons, we can’t stay with either son. We’ve going to see the Melbourne son in December and have booked into a motel. Obviously, we’re looking forward to seeing him. I’ll tell you about the planned Irish trip next time.

I'm glad you're finally getting to make a trip to see one of your sons and hope to hear about the trip and his family when you have time to tell us after you get back... or while you're with them.
That looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger posing for one of his muscle pics.

@JudyEv I'm always happy to see you've written something new.
And yup! I saw the trip isn't until December... I'm glad your family isn't in the flood zone.

@DaddyEvil They're calling it a once-in-200-year flood now. Next time it will be a once-in-300-years. lol

I am looking forward to your Melbourne trip.
I hope I would get to see a lot of new pictures.
And please do share MCG - Melbourne Cricket Ground pictures.
The T 20 world cup has started.
There are some new cricket grounds in Australia for International cricket. One is in a place named something like Geelong.

@JudyEv
Gateway city implies a good scope for Travel and Tourism. I think that Australia now has a couple of new Cricket grounds in the last few years.

@Ronrybs West Australia sometimes gets ignored by the other states when they talk about, say, the time something will be televised. We're mostly 2 hours behind the eastern states but more with daylight saving. However, the other states are quite happy to share in our mining wealth! lol

@LindaOHio That's true. We never went too long without visiting my parents but I remember one day it suddenly hit me how they had aged.

@JudyEv Yes, flying during Christmas and New Year holidays is more expensive.

@JudyEv I have 3 brothers, it was always Julia and the 3 boys, and even though we are in our 50's and 60's it is still that. It is beginning to fit again as that old saying, once an adult twice a child, comes into play-none of the boys have any hair. That was just like when they were babies.
