Members of our Church donated $5k to go into the remodel of the food pantry, and the church itself, with sessions approval matched another $5k so the remodel has begun, and it was necessary.
They were going to paint the ceilings today, the walls Tomorrow after we close, and if the new flooring has come in, that will be laid Friday and Saturday, along with a widened walk way, with wider sets, unfortunately there's no room for an ADA compliant ramp, though I did bring that up! And it was discussed all and all though.

Do you know if you could get a fine for not being ADA compliant? I'd hate for you to do all this work and then be fined for non-compliance.

Because we are a non profit and we carry the food out to those that need it, and we are a very small building we were told a ramp want necessary, and the location makes a ramp impossible there are ramps in other locations throughout though...They already discussed it with the necessary professionals and were given an okay to not have a ramp at the side entrance...

I am glad to learn that your church members are generous enough to make such a huge amount of money for the church development.

Its actually for the food pantry, which is hosted by the Church, but not technically a Church operation...But thank you so much...But we do have an amazing group of believers at our Church...

In our place, a new building construction should have access to disable person or else the building permit won't be approved.

It has access on the other end, there's actually three ways to get into the building ...

@Michellekidwell But there's an access for the disabled person? No stairs?
