George surprised me, because it was a couple minutes after ten when he got up. He's used to being up earlier, but he slept in. He kind of knew he might, because we got our first real cold front, but he seemed surprised that he did. We're starting our warming trend, but I am glad that it's still cool in the morning. I've never been a fan of the extreme heat. So I'm happy with the weather.

I am rather disappointed in this cold weather so soon. At least if I could see all the autumn colors it would make more sense. My cats look at me bundling up, and I tell them they have fur coats, but I have none

We have an electric mattress cover. I turn it on before George goes to bed, and it keeps him warm all night.

Seems you are living in the wrong state to escape extreme heat 
But having lived in Florida for a year myself and visiting many times that February-April weather is gorgeous. And one thing I enjoyed down there was being able to play tennis in December!
Well, at least you're getting some relief from the usual Sunshine State weather, lol.

@kaylachan I used to be a night owl when I was younger. Somewhere along the line that changed and now I prefer getting up early.
