Rain Rain Come Again / myLot

It rained all night. We have needed it badly since we have been in a drought now for several years. It woke me up at about 4a. and I just love to hear it pattering on the roof. Now if it would just have been strong enough to clean the other side of my outer bedroom window. My grandson cleaned one side yesterday for me but, the other part, which is not removable, is filthy. Hohum!

I can wash the top half of the outside of my window that faces the deck but my living room window can only be washed on the inside. A good hard rain will wash it somewhat but not what I call clean.

I wish I could explain these windows. It is made up of glass on half and a screen on the other half. Then there is half a window that you can remove and clean. But, that leaves that one half than can't be. Grr!

@celticeagle I understand how aggravating it can be. I can pull the blinds to cover the top windows but not the bottoms, if I want any light to come inside.

@RubyHawk ........I know how that is. The dirt on this window is on the bottom with just some water stains on the rest.

I'm shocked to read that your place suffered from drought several years. How many years? Drought in our place is season. We call it a dry spell which usually lasts for a month or two.
