Ignore him and he will just go away? Ghosh! I wish I'd thought of that. Durr! Steve Bannen is going to end up doing time now as he has been convicted of contempt. This guy was the former president's right-hand man. If he is not respecting the ruling of the court, then doesn't that say just a little about the former president? It's the people we hang out with that says a lot about who we are. The Select Committee has a lot of proof as to what happened on January 6th. They know that Trump did absolutely nothing to keep his Vice President safe as Pence came to Capitol for his duty on that day. That he set for 187 minutes and did nothing to stop the attack. He also tweeted about it so he was aware of it and yet he did nothing. He knew that this action was illegal and he went forward anyway. Clear as the evidence is it still has to be proved in court. No one is above the law. Liz Cheney spoke on Meet the Press yesterday morning about how scary it is to think of election deniers being voted into ANY office on The Hill. It just can't happen. She feels that if the Putz(AKA Donald Trump) is on the ballot in November 2024 that the republican party will shatter. A conservative party will rise in its place. She says she will do whatever it takes and states very clearly that Trump will not be president again.
