These Kittens are so Funny!

As many of you know, we have two new kittens. About six or seven months old now, born in May. Finn and Colby are both males and just as cute as ever. Finn is all black and a very sweet fellow. Colby reminds me of Daffey Duck from the Looney Tunes cartoons. They get their mom involved and it gets pretty intense. They get to playing and it is so funny to listen to them and watch. They scurry up and down the stairs, run all over the house, and then out of nowhere, we hear a bang as they hit hard up against something. They wrestle and turn and tumble on the rug. So funny to watch them. I wish I had a picture or video but, I don't.

Kittens are funny, but you have to watch them like hawks. They get into everything.

Kittens are a lot of work, but a whole lot of fun, too. My husband has talked about maybe, getting two new kittens once Chill bug is gone. But, we're hoping that's a few years away.

Our older cat, Silver, could go at any time. He has been with us for so many years. We love him dearly and have a lot of good memories. I hope he lasts a while longer.

We recently adopted a pair of kittens from my brother. Duchess Fiona and Duke Storm after our most recent weather event (about the same time we got them). They're white (when they're completely clean) except for a smudge of grey on Duke's head. We are also feeding a young feral kitten who's orange. For the time being, we call him LB short for Leah's brother. We adopted her last year when she was sick and frightened. She recovered from that but it turns out she was inbred and suffered heart failure when she was almost a year old. It was sad because she was sweet, intelligent, and exceptionally well-behaved.

That is how our Finn cat is. Intelligent, sweet, and well-behaved. So different from his brother, Colby.
