The Dude Loves His New Bed

Brendel turned 12 this year. She has many beds throughout the house. And a heating pad she loves this time of the year especially. She does not like to be covered.
On the other hand, the Dude prefers getting under a blanket to sleep. Too funny to watch him find a place to sleep. I never know where I might find him. Decided to order him this new bed. It has a top over it that zips off. And it is very soft.
You can see in the photos he seems to approve of his new bed. Brendel is still sleeping. I am curious to see what she will do when she sees it. There is enough room for both of them in the bed. I don't think that will happen. But you never know with these two. We will see what they decide later.

Oh that is such an adorable and cozy bed.
We had a dog, Nayla, who loved to sleep under the blankets or under a cover on the couch when we looked at television. She would even let me tie a babuchka to cover the top of her head and her ears, she was such a funny dog.

When I found it online I had to order it. And he loves it. I can't wait to see what Brendel does, if anything, when she wakes up. This is actually a dog bed. He is a large cat. Bombay's get pretty big. They are too funny with their personalities.

That is a bed that Jax would love as well. He loves to be covered up. A bed isnt a bed to him unless it includes a blanket.

@CarolDM After you posted this, I had to look for these online and others. I found some very affordable cover beds, but they both have their own comfy beds already, and Jax's includes a blankie he can pull over himself. Probably the last thing I need to spend money on..(next to fattening food,) are things like pet beds, especially since they have their own...but the one I saw not only had a cover, but it was a warming bed as well...course you don't need that in the summer. Always something cute out there..

@snowy22315 My two have heating pads I don't use any more. They can still use those in the beds. These cats are the only children I have. I will spend what I can afford don't hem. Yes, you can find some cute things, just like for babies.

That is just the cutest ever and so glad that Dude loves his new bed. I have not thought of getting a bed for any of my cats because they use the cat tree and there is just not too much room here. The smallest one Sydney likes to be above everyone else and now sleeps on the very top shelf of books.

Nice photos. He sure knows that bed is for him.
Peppie chooses. He has so many places where he is comfortable but nothing is predictable

That's a great looking bed for Dude and I'm sure he'll love the covered feature. My dog loves to sleep under the blanket too. Pets are funny with their individual quirks aren't they

Now that's a cool bed! Flaps for hiding out and everything. When I had a cat, I bought one of those fur-lined beds for winter. She loved it!
