Results matching fewer words

I had a search saved on Ebay for ‘Robin Williamson - Five Humourous Tales of Scotland and Ireland’ because I have tried everything to get another copy of this much-loved recording and can’t find one anywhere. Finally yesterday, to my great joy, someone has listed a copy for sale! I really hope it’s still in good listenable condition and I win the auction! What made me laugh though was that when Ebay showed me the one listing, it then went on to show me what it claimed were ‘Results matching fewer words’. Top of the list was ‘King Charles III & Diana Royal Wedding Old Gold Lustre Leather 80s Retro Brass’ And below that was ‘BORIS JOHNSON Brexit Gold Coin Houses of Parliament London Europe Liz Truss UK’. I don’t know how it works out that these results are at all relevant; I am struggling to identify a single matching word! Although I guess it is strictly true to say they match fewer words! Some of the search results returned are very weird and I can't see the connection.

I certainly can't. In the first item there is the word 'and/&' but surely there must be millions of items with 'and' in the description. In the second one there isn't even that! If Ebay thinks I might be tempted to make an impulse buy they are sadly deluded regarding my interests.

@Ronrybs I have always wondered what happened to the band 'The The' once the internet developed!

@Fleura I don't put common words like 'and' into a search mainly because I can't be bothered to type it out. Still get strange results

That seems strange that nothing matches. They come up with very obscure 'matches' sometimes.

Not one single word matches, unless you count 'and' with '&' in the first item.

We never really know what our search phrases might bring these days. Glad you found what you were looking for.
