I've seen that little yellow square with a ghost in it on my phone, and since found out it was for Snapchat, but what on earth is Snapchat? The name makes me think you snap pictures with your phone and chat about them? There's probably more to it than that. Have you ever used Snapchat? Did you like it? What on earth do they do there? How does it work?

I like the filters on Snapchat, but I have never really gotten the appeal to it. It's more used to send pictures to other people. Like picture messages. And you can edit them etc. It's widely used by people hiding behind their spouses back and flirting with other people, because said pictures disappear within 24 hours or something. I think I am just too old to understand it lol

@xstitcher Like I don't know. It just never held my attention. I have Instagram. But the only reason any pictures get [posted there is because it is linked to my facebook.

That's the idea, messages you send disappear some quicker than others. such as the 'snap' in snap chat. Kids love it, me I've never installed it.
