What's For Dinner?

I know how much many of you love these types of posts and talking about food so since I haven't done one in awhile I thought I'd ask. What's for dinner? No cooking for us tonight and we're having Chinese food delivered. We had it for the first time in a long time last weekend when my son and family visited and it was so good we decided to have it again tonight. I'm getting a combination platter of bourbon chicken, white rice and an egg roll. I'm passing on the soup and getting fried wontons instead. Do you like Chinese food? what's your "go to" dish?

I do like Chinese. I love the beef and broccoli and the chicken with bean sprouts. They are my favorite dishes. I will have to have chicken soup for supper-again.

I love Chinese food haven't had it in a long time. I had a few burgers for lunch so I'm still kinda full from that. Not sure what I'll have for dinner, I did bake a cake so I'll be frosting that in a few hours and having that later tonight.

Mmm I love Chinese food! I only buy it on special occasions so it really is a treat! I had to bathe the two dogs with mange shampoo which took 40 minutes and by then I was so hungry and exhausted I just ate cereal for dinner. I made my son an angus burger after he got home from the football game he was playing his base at for the band.

I still don’t know what to cook for dinner. We still have leftover potatoes. Yes, I like Chinese food. My “go to” dish is usually boiled rice and stir fried vegetables with meat.

It's good to have a no cooking day from time to time. Your meal sounds delicious. We do enjoy Chinese food. What we get here is Indian version of Chinese food. Today I made Chinese for Sunday brunch... Chicken chilli, baby corn Manchurian and veg garlic fried rice. We had enough leftover for dinner. So that saved me from cooking dinner.

I love egg rolls but otherwise am not a fan of Chinese food. I’m having a leftover cheeseburger with roasted broccoli and onions as I’m MyLoting.

I like Korean food the most because they agree with my palate. I don't favor Chinese food much as I don't seem to like the aftertaste, Anyway, enjoy your meal and your egg rolls, I love the egg rolls cooked by my daughter-in-law so much. Happy eating.

I love Chinese food, and in fact, it is my favorite when it comes to any ethnic cuisine. Usually I go for beef pepper steak or beef broccoli. But I also always order a ton when we have it delivered. Usually shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein, egg rolls, spring rolls, crab Rangoon, and the wifey usually gets orange chicken or General Tso's chicken. For dinner I am going to make a Mississippi pot roast in the crock pot. Just a rump roast (usually I use chuck, but rump was on sale) with a little seasoning, a packet of ranch dressing mix dumped in, a packet of brown gravy mix dumped in (supposed to use au jus packet but I did not have any), a stick of butter cut up and put on top the meat, and I added some onions and will likely put on some pepperconis. We will probably have it with a salad.

I've got a pound of ground beef/ground pork that is thawed in the fridge that I need to use before it goes bad. I was thinking I could make hamburgers out of it later tonight. That sounds good and we'll both eat hamburgers. I love some Chinese food but couldn't stand traditional Hunan cashew chicken (It looked like a white soup. I ate the chicken chunks out of it and left the rest.) If you get a chance, see if you can order Springfield style Cashew Chicken. It's my favorite Chinese dish and was invented not far from where I live. It's delicious! (It is breaded and deep fried chicken with a cashew sauce and green onions and cashews on a bed or white rice. I don't want the rice but Pretty eats my rice.) I usually also order some egg rolls to go with the chicken. Springfield style Cashew Chicken. Photo isn't mine.

I like Chinese food too. I love prawn toast as a starter then mostly a sweet and sour dish as a mains.
