Headed back home

We caught the 5:14 train with just a couple of minutes spare. I was having anxiety because the girls insisted on stopping for coffee and to use the bathroom. I would have been pissed if we had to wait another 40 minutes for the next one. The show was great as always. Some idiots couldn’t find their seats and impeded our view of the opening auction scene. People were actually yelling at them to sit down! Then another group showed up late and had to get past us to their seats. That partially blocked the raising of the chandelier. At the end the musical next door was blasting music that we could hear through the walls. Still it was wonderful to see it one last time. We hustled back to Penn Station and I swear I got a contact high from all of the pot smoke. People are NOT exaggerating about that. Oh well. We’ll be back at the car around 6 and I’ll be back at the apartment before 8. Long day but it was fun.
