For some crazy reason, I decided to try to call and get my EBT (Food stamp) card renewed. Crazy because I should have known I'd be on hold "forever". I'm supposedly "20" in the queue. That's what they said last time before they already started me all over. I don't know if I'll stay on or try again tomorrow if they start me all over with "press this for this" and "press this for that" again. I still hear the water in the down spout--if I don't get through, I may grab my umbrella and go for a half hour walk. I'm going to wait, though, until they "start me all over" again...
