My Grandson to the Rescue

I said in a previous post that I was having trouble with my PC. I had my grandson look at it. He tried several different things. Worked on it for about an hour.
He had me try using an external mouse. Ugh! I didn't care for it at all. Haven't used one for years. But, what he finally did was change the settings on my internal mouse so that I can pat the mouse a couple of times instead of using the right button. Works well so far.
So, I hope to get my responses done by today. I'm getting tired. Got a little stressed over it all.

I am very lucky to have him here.
Yes, there does come a time when we must let the computer go out to pasture.

@DaddyEvil .........He uses it a lot. Better at finding it than I am.
You always have offered me help and counsel. Such a good friend.

@celticeagle Especially if he hasn't had formal classes. I taught myself how to work on computers way back when and then took the college course for it later. (That's why I often help people on myLot who have computer problems.)

@celticeagle In my opinion it's only a matter of habits.

I tend to prefer an external mouse instead of the internal one, but I know how frustrating it is to have to do things differently than how we're accustomed.

It seems that most do like the external one. I was opposed to the internal one when I first started out but, after a while, I got used to it and really like it now.

I like my external mouse. Hopefully the new setting will work for you.

I worked with an external mouse for years in customer service. I now get laptops with the mouse internal and it works so much nicer for me. The new setting is working well, it is just my old mind and body that isn't always doing well with it.
