Poetry: Recovery's train

Do not feel so bad. You are on the train to recovery. We all are.

Recovery is a type of discovery, discovery about your recovery. Pain is a type of train, training you away from pain. The track is laid by yourself, but others lay some parts too. Look into yourself through others, and discover you are you in you. Darkness needs light to discover itself. Hatred and fear, need love to see, through any pain, caused by them. Your heart shines, despite mind darkness. Photo Credit: The photo used in this article was sourced from the free media site, pixabay.com Do not feel so bad. You are on the train to recovery. The mind does cast a shadow over the innate light of the heart. The mind gets overwhelmed by what it perceives which tends to overcome the yearnings of the heart. We need to think long-term to come out of temporary setbacks.

Yes, the problem is that when we are in the midst of being overwhelmed by our mind, the shadow looms tall, and we forget that our heart still shines behind all such shadows.

@innertalks I think the mind cannot be faulted as it is bombarded by the reality of the outside world which is mostly riddled with anarchy. I take a cursory look at the media and soon feel sick in the pit of my stomach. Those with nuclear arms try to blackmail others into submission and it is taken as par for the course! If we are sure to survive this mad culture, then we are entitled to optimism!

@Shiva49 I would think that there are some major fault lines, in some minds in control of the world right now, though. Madness makes such fault lines, and culture then follows them. The right mind can't be faulted as it is built onto the heart as its foundation piece. Faults develop, when we try to move the mind from its right foundation, and place it on sandpiles of stupidity instead, which darken our mind, with such fault-lines attached.

We can all use time to think about ourselves and do what is best for us.
