They are predicting a huge cool down tomorrow and through next week.
When I came home from trying to pick up Bob's prescriptions there were hundreds of birds on the ground. Foraging for seeds, etc.
To me that was a sure sign of changing weather.
We will begin to have more seasonal temps.
How is your weather? I hope we get more rain.

We had 78F here today but the predicted low in the morning is 19F with the high tomorrow of 41F. Snow is predicted for Tuesday.
I've been enjoying the unseasonable warm temps but I guess I'll need to dig out my long pants and heavy shirts. I already pulled out a pair of real shoes to wear instead of sandals. *sigh*

@GardenGerty I had to put on long jeans, a quilted shirt and real shoes today when I took Pretty for her doctor's appointment.
Oh, yeah, I wasn't happy about the huge drop in temps, either.
I hope you and Bob stayed warm enough today.

a 20 degree drop from yesterday with high winds 'n a bit'f snow. not a fan 'f such, but welcome the moisture.

Those sudden drops hurt our old bones. We have not had snow yet. It used to arrive about Thanksgiving every year. I have not kept track for a while though.

Today is supposed to be mostly sunny but there are an awful lot of clouds up there in the sky at 8:56am, current temp is 14°C/57°F. Was looking forward to the predicted high of 19°C/67°F but not sure if we'll reach that if the clouds don't dispurse. Supposed to rain for the rest of the week.

Tomorrow evening we are supposed to get the remnants of Hurricane Nicole. Over Saturday we are supposed to get absolutely drenched. The good part of tropical storms is that the temperatures will remain above seasonal for a little bit yet.

We actually saw a bird round our house today. I've been missing the birds so much. He grabbed a spider from the kitchen window. Now, I don't feel like taking down all the cobwebs.

At school there was a cardinal, I think maybe a youngish one, trying to come in through a hall way window. I think she liked the lights.

Nicole has decided to slide up to Ohio and give us some heavy rain. Right behind it I see on the map that the cold front is coming. We expect s**w tomorrow. I hate winter!!! Maybe you will get some rain from this cold front that is coming through.

This is not the coldest part of the year, but it is cold enough. When Bob feels better we will put out food for the birds. They do enjoy the birdbath, for fresh water to drink.

It was drizzling for a while today. Generally it's hot, but today it's fine. Good day for outdoorsy walks.
