Well, I met with a new colleague at Starbucks Tuesday. We are both new electeds on the local community services district. Forgot to mention to Tony until today. He got pretty mad that I hadn't told him.
He gave me an opening to start a conversation and instead I chickened out. I am really not ok right now. Ugh.
But I think I can lead into one later. Maybe.

What is it to him? Has he been interested in your interests in the past. We are behind you as you head into this new situation. It sounds like serving on that board will be interesting and motivating.
