Good morning from this side of the planet . It's another sunny bright morning here. It's 10:50 AM as I write this post sitting under the tree outside the pre primary block. I am getting enough sunlight to keep me warm and not too hot. And definitely some dose of Vitamin D. . I just love this spot.. The lit fest kick started in the Middle school block. Grade 4_7 are participating in it.. It's a lot of hustle bustle on the first and second floor where most of the activities are taking place. Other classes continue to have their regular routine. I attended the morning inauguration of the fest. And then I came to the pre primary block for my sessions here with the two Montessori children. It was more of social interaction session where my autistic child played a game with the neurotypical friend from his class. And this neurotypical girl was so friendly and sensitive. That makes me happy as how an inclusive set up helps both the special needs and the neurotypical. The activities for the fest today are: Before lunch: Debate competition and Creative writing. Post lunch: Dumb Charades ( around the books and their characters), JAM ( just a minute) to speak on what you get in the chit. Students will get some yummy treats in their lunchtime I went around the two floors. Our posters, signage and decors have really made the place look beautiful.. Children really worked well yesterday as a team. A lots of cars in the parking area today as many parents, family, and friends are here to enjoy the fest. We sent an email to parents and teachers to car pool or use the public transport to avoid the overcrowding and inconvenience. This hustle bustle will continue for next three days. And then next would be the same literature fest for High school in first week of December. I am done for the work today. I will have only session tomorrow also as the Middle school children are busy having a good time and my sessions with them stay cancelled. I might stay to be an audience.I will follow my mood. I have not brought my lunch but have a crunchy apple to keep me full if I choose to stay. But for now I want to mylot for some time before leaving this beautiful spot

@LadyDuck Today was good, quite fun with some funny games. I will try about that tomorrow. Today I am too tired to make a post after long day. I want to get done with the notifications before hitting the pillow. They have piled up

The teachers and students put a lot of effort and the result was good. Happy that everyone took pride to contribute their part including the students with special needs. It is a community effort . The first day was good and hopefully it will go good for the rest two days.

@arunima25 No, I'm not a happy camper at all. There is a winter storm watch for Sunday; and we are expecting another six inches of snow or so.

Oh! It's really fun. And some of these young speakers could really entertain the crowd well. They were quite spontaneous.
