Yesterday I went to the hospital for what I thought was an EKG. Turns out it was for an Electrocardiogram. Instead of 2 minutes, the procedure took 45 minutes; and I had to lie on my side and back which is very painful for me. I could hardly move when I got up. OK, enough whining. I managed to make it through the whole procedure. Will be interested in the results. Today schools are closed in our county due to the s**w. So far we've only seen about an inch. Personally I think they called off too soon. The s**wfall is usually a lot more to our east and south, even though we are in the s**w belt. ALL of the roads are closed in the county to our east. Meals on Wheels is closed in our adjoining county; but I haven't seen a closing for our county. How is your weather? Breakfast - Apple cinnamon cereal bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - BBQ chicken breast, mac and cheese, spinach and apple juice Dessert/Snack - Lemon muffin and decaf coffee Dinner - Apple cinnamon cereal bar What did you eat yesterday? I have had those and even for me they are uncomfortable, but more tolerable than stress tests. I hope the results come out all good. For dinner I made a whoknowswhat. Browned some ground beef and cooked up some macaroni noodles. Cooked up some onions and red pepper and tossed in the ground beef and noodles with some jarred spaghetti sauce. It was not gourmet, but it was good enough and the wife thought it was really good. Made "poor man's garlic bread" to boot.

An EKG is an Electrocardiogram. Some call it EKG, others ECG, but it is the same test. I have never had one that lasted that long. Was it an ultrasound? I hope you get good results. I am sure the school kids are happy with their snow day.

Potato, potato. The nurse said they are different; but whatever. Yes, it's a sonogram/ultrasound of the heart. It's just like a test that you get when you're pregnant, except that they push on your ribs instead!

It's winter there already. I'm wondering about your meals on wheels. I understand that it's a food delivery service. They must have lots of menus for their varied customers, and their dishes sound delicious. I wish we had one here and not just fast food.
