Nothing new for Florida, but I would love that sun. Days like this make me wonder why we're called the 'sunshine state'. At any rate, this morning is starting off on the chilly side, but warmer than yesterday. We're in a bit of a warming trend at the moment, so I can't really complain about that. Looking forward to it, actually. We'll be headed out in a bit for a bit of a long day. Such is life.

Depends on the year and what kind of rainy season we've had. Nicole, a rare November hurricane, should've cleared the air out. Apparently not.

Just a few moments ago it was spitting raindrops here. The gray days are kind of gloomy, but my cats provide the entertainment. This morning I think they were running the Kentucky Derby. They were clomping around the apartment and sounded like a heard of wild mustangs. Right now they are sleeping,

That could be. I mean growing up, summers were so predictable you could set your watch by the rains. Now you never know what's going to happen.

I thought I read somewhere once that it rains on about 75% of the days in Florida, which sounds about right.
When I got up early this morning to go to downtown Gainesville for their big art festival, it was raining. But thankfully it stopped shortly after I got there.
