I am so in love with this kitten

My niece finally dropped off the kitten last night around 7pm. The baby and I were in the hallway upstairs and I told her baby Kitty was here. Her mouth dropped open and she started crawling so fast and giggling. It was a moment I wish I could have captured on film. So far he is doing amazing here. Last night my husband let our little dog in the kitchen with it which I didn’t think was a good idea to do that so soon. They did really well with each other though. Later I had the kitten in the living room because I didn’t want it to have to be alone in the bathroom. It was laying behind my husband head on the arm rest of the couch and jumped down. The two dogs cornered it in front of the gate and the cat scratched the labs nose. That was the only incident we have had knock on wood. Today my husband took his lab and beagles hunting so the cat had the roam of the downstairs. I stayed close to it though since my little dog was very curious of it and I had to watch the baby around it as well. Since my husband has been home the animals all seem fine with each other. I really didn’t expect this to go as smoothly as it is. It vomited this morning from grabbing potato skin off my daughters plate last night. I am actually so glad it did that as I wouldn’t have known had it not vomited that it has worms. I ordered wormer, nail caps and a litter mat off Amazon today. I told my husband I’m going to put the babies wrap on that I no longer use and carry the kitten around in it. Probably just joking but you never know . If you have followed along skip the rest of this post: My sister in law had stray kittens living outside her house. One was a Siamese and I wanted to find it a home. I didn’t think my husband would ever let me have it nor could we because of his allergies. After my husband met the kitten we discovered he wasn’t allergic to this one like the others he has been around. My niece wanted it and had it for a month or so but she wasn’t home much and it was just stuck in her room all the time and their dog out of jealousy started peeing on their new carpet. We had agreed if they couldn’t care for it I would take it back.
