I Had To Make Another Order

I had forgotten that I still had some balance on my insurance card. I can use it for either OTC products (like what you can get at a drugstore)or for transportation. I get $90 every quarter that I can use. I had $34.25 left for the rest of the year ending in December. I didn't want it to go to waste. So I ordered some more Glucerna and a few vitamins. I tried to get some cherry cough drops but they were out. Do you older folks have this available on your insurance? I feel so fortunate to have actually taken the call the day the Molina representative called me back about three years ago now. I usually don't take these calls. I pay no monthly premium and get all these perks. There is an exercise program on it too that I don't use. The most I pay for my prescriptions is $3.95. Not bad when I only have one brand name med that costs me that amount. Others are free.

Yes, I have an OTC card that gives me perks every month. $150, groceries, and Walgreens. I don't have transportation on mine. The amount is going up in January to $200.

I wish mine had groceries on it too. $200 will be nice. I haven't heard anything about mine going up any. I feel lucky to have the $90 every three months.

We get $20 apiece each month for OTC items. We pay a hefty monthly premium and have some prescriptions that are over $100 a month. It sounds like you have a really good plan.

@celticeagle I already checked them out. We have a Premium PPO plan. It's expensive; but we don't pay that much for hospital stays, etc.

I've had that with my work insurance and I always tried to make sure and use everything I was given. I won't know about Social Security for a few more years yet.

Yes but most pharmacies are short on ‘free’ meds
