Christmas

When my grandmother signed up for Social Security she had to get her siblings to verify her birthday. There was no birth records back than like there is now. She was born on the Oregon trail in a covered wagon. Her family build a barn for their animals to live in first and the family lived in the barn until they build their house. Ketchup used to be sold as medicine. Dr Pepper used to be sold as Medicine. In 300 BC Turkeys were worshiped as Gods. I heard that on the history channel. Did you know that women were not allowed to run in the Boston Marathon until 1967. British tanks have a devise in their tank that makes tea. Tea is important to them. The picture is mine taken by me.

Those Christmas decorations look so festive. So much has changed over time and generations. Many in the previous generations in my family did not have any birth records and could not remember their actual birth date. My maternal uncle was born on 15th August 1947. And everyone remembered the date so vividly as it was the day India got it's freedom. My grandmother told us the story that while she was in pain delivering in the room, she could hear the bands playing and patriotic slogans from the street

1967 for women to run in the Boston Marathon? Wow, that's pretty recent really. I wonder why they weren't allowed before?

I believe a pharmacist invented both Pepsi and Dr. Pepper. Ketchup that's a new one. I wonder why they didn't let women run in the Boston Marathon?
