First of all, I wanted to wish everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow a very Happy Thanksgiving!!! What will you be doing?
Hubs fell asleep after lunch yesterday; so we didn't get out to get our shots. Today hubs will have to go pick up our Thanksgiving dinner at Giant Eagle.
We are having someone come out to give us a quote on installing a walk-in tub/shower. This will be helpful for both of us.
Breakfast - None
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Pork loin, rice, peas, spinach and applesauce
Dessert/Snack - Brownie and decaf coffee
Dinner - Oatmeal breakfast square

@CarolDM He's always in pain and says that he wishes he was in a Jacuzzi. Well, now he can have the same thing.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too.
I had some trouble yesterday when my blood glucose dropped too low. We think now that is what has been happening when I don't feel good. I ate a Fun Size candy bar and felt fine after a little bit. It was weird.
I had a pear for breakfast, half of a ham and Swiss sandwich with mayo and last night I has the last of the parmesan noodles with turkey in it. I had some pecans for dessert.

Thanks. Yeah, you have to watch that your glucose level doesn't get too low. Hubs is about ready to go out and pick up our Thanksgiving dinner.

I would be interested in approximate cost of a tub/shower. Just havent called about them. Check with your insurance too. They may help with the cost.

From what I understand, Medicare does not consider the tub/shower a piece of durable equipment; but we will still try. My PCP is sending me a prescription for it.

@LindaOHio Hope they cover some of it. It is amazing what we can get prescriptions for now.

Happy Thanksgiving, I hope you both enjoy the day. I will just be online as usual and hustling on my survey sites for money. Who knows while others are cooking and eating, I might be the only one online for surveys and perhaps will net big bucks; Today I had rice, chicken nuggets, and gravy.

Hope your Thanksgiving is truly blessed. You will totally enjoy that walk in shower. It's sure a lot safer and easier than stepping into a tub.
