Growing like a weed

I took this shot on Nov 20, Tuffy is already too big to nap on my lap =(

Boy and how, poor little Tuffy got used to napping on my lap and I would pull my tshirt over him to make something like a pouch but as you can see he's not little enough to do that anymore. This shot was taken on Nov 20. His personality is finally showing as well, he loves to chase waded up paper or whatever then he puts the thing in his mouth and runs off with it and starts batting it around where I can't see him. He is one very funny little character. I hope I can teach Tuffy to do what Bruiser does.

You are correct. My past cats were all mellow by the time they were 4 years old so hopefully he will do the same.

So do I. I think when cats purr really loud they are content and happy ....... I have heard that sometimes a cat will purr when it is stressed.

I had a cat in the 1970s who'd do that and hopefully I can teach Tuffy to do it too. He is almost too big for my lap.

I agree. He has a similar personality to what I had with Prissy. She and I bonded really close and she always followed me around no matter where I'd go

I can only speculate that he has some Himalayan and Siamese and probably simple alley cat.
