I Bought some Beauty Products

I didnt buy lipstick bacause I will have to cover my mouth with a mask anyway. I bought some eye bag reduction cream and an exfoliant. I bought an eyeliner and some snail & charcoal mask. And oh boy I went out of the store feeling like I did a crime.
Some women dont feel guilty doing this. I dont know why when it comes to self care doesnt suit my practical nature.
My daughter and I will be travelign to Manila next week and I want to look at least presentable to the urban populace 
.
I will be buying some durable shoes there which I hope will last me a long time that Iwouldnt need to buy or worry about getting another pair of shoes. So will my daughter.
Life can be really pretty boring here in the province, Im telling you. But it is comfortable and pace is slow. Crime rate almost zero.

I hate to say it but somehow it is fueled by insecurity. I will try harder to be confident within.

@LadyDuck Well it did make me feel pretty for a day. So there's that.
But I realized its just pointless at my age. And I'm not that of pretty in my younger age to begin with. A person will have to like me from what I am I guess within if that is even real

I would love to live in a place like yours with slow paced life and zero crime rate. I don't buy much of beauty products but I love to take care of myself. When I buy something to pamper myself, I don't feel guilty about that. But yes, I have to stick to my budget.

Sometimes we are driven by emotion and psychology and not numbers. I hope like you to stick to my budget and not feel like I have deprived myself.

The crimes here mostly have personal motives like jealousy, quarrel over land and incest. But you dont have to worry while walking down the street.

I don't wear alot of makeup. I hardly wear it now. The only beauty product I buy right now is some acne wash for my face.
