Peppie boy is a contented soul now

My earlier post talked about how Peppie refused to eat those sardines and the maid was sent to fetch some fish he likes . She got the mackerels - not cheap by any standards but Peppie was starving although he nibbled at the chicken feed and the dry feed.
But Peppie loves fish and how can I let him not have it. This morning I cut the mackerel into pieces and put them in his bowl. Loved to watch him finish them all.
Now he is snoozing and how!!!

Pet owners do have a responsibility to see that their pets are contented. Not a big deal but when fish is not available then we are helpless.

@allknowing Totally understand that. We had pet dogs till 2014. I grew up in a family that always had enough pets to take care of

Of the fish sardines have more health properties. I can understand Peppie not liking them but you? Never mind (lol)

I know, believe me, I've tried, but can't get past the scent of it... can't eat papaya for the same reason.

@oahuwriter I understand. There are so many foods that are not to our liking. I do not like avocado for example
