Shopping down town again.

Yesterday I went shopping down town again. It was a nice sunny day but because it's November it would probably be a bit nippy so my Mum advised me to wear a scarf. Unfortunately I didn't have one to hand and I didn't have time to search for one so I had to go without one but I did take a pair of gloves. I was going to get some fruit and veg from the fruit and veg man on the market, but when I got there he wasn't there! The one time we decided to get fruit and veg off the market and he's not there! What are the odds? So I had to go up to Tesco to get everything. (I was going to Tesco anyway for some cake). I got strawberries, tomatoes, an iceberg lettuce, 4 pears and a cucumber. Mum wanted me to get some dates for my step-dad but I couldn't get the ones that he likes. I also got a round carrot cake My Mum wanted me to get 3 Advent calendars, for my Mum, step-dad and me, but I couldn't find any that were suitable anywhere. I looked in Tesco, WH Smith, The Works, Wilko and B&M. The only ones I could find were in The Works but they were too childish and unsuitable. I'll get some more from the big Tesco on Wednesday like the ones I get for my nephews last Wednesday if they've still in. I got birdseed from Wilko and some food bags from B&M and I also got a light up and musical nativity scene thing from B&M which I will give to my Mum for Christmas. When I was paying in B&M I tipped my purse up and all my change (well, my Mum's change!) fell onto the floor! Luckily the kind man who was behind me in the queue picked it all up for me and I said thank you very much. I went out through the back entrance, across the car park and by Minster Pool to go home. I saw several lovely swans on Minster Pool. Then I went back to the toilet by the Cathedral (which I did go to aswell before I started the shopping) then I set off for home round Stowe Pool. I saw our Pastor Steve round Stowe Pool with 2 dogs. I didn't recognise him. I was concentrating on the two lovely dogs and one of them came and sniffed at my trolley. Then I stopped. It wasn't until Steve spoke that I knew it was him! He said they are mother and daughter. I stroked the mother and said You are lovely you are. Then Steve said I've got to go, I'm on a mission! So I said, OK, bye, and off I went. A bit further on by Stowe Pool I saw some bird poo descending from a tree infront of me. I stopped. The bird poo landed right in front of me! I said to myself, Oh, that's lovely, that is! I thought if I'd been a step further on that would've landed right on my head! When I got home I unpacked and told Mum all about my day, and told her about seeing Steve and about the bird poo! I had a rest for a bit and then I had the last of the left over soup for my lunch.
