So, back from my Thanksgiving Day Trip. We actually got back early last evening. It was great seeing everyone.. I got some exciting news from one of my nephews that I will share on Monday, but one of the fun things on the trip was visiting her friend's ducks. They were away for the holiday,, and asked sis to collect the eggs and let them out of their little house. Duck eggs are pastel. I did not know that. We had some for breakfast. Cute little ducks..They are polish ducks of some sort. I forgot the name. I hope everyone has a great day.

Those ducks are cute, I remember that the duck eggs came in several pastel colors, my granny had ducks.

I thought they tasted the same as chicken eggs. I heard they were richer or more yellow, more cholesterol or something..but essentially they seemed the same. I thought a little drier, but it might have been the prep method.

@LadyDuck Not these, they were about the size of a small to medium egg.

@snowy22315 Duck eggs are a bit bigger, so they have more of everything in them: more fat, more cholesterol, more protein, and more calories. It is true they they are dryer than chicken eggs, they contain less water.

They're so cute, I don't believe I've seen a duck egg.

They were neat to see so close up. The irony is, i was considering buying some duck eggs at a craft market a few weeks ago.

@snowy22315 The colored duck eggs would look too pretty to eat.

They do look very cute. I have never had duck eggs, I would think that they would be larger then hen eggs.

Ducks just love paddling. We never had ducks. Mum reckoned they were too messy. But they are very cute and can get very tame.

I was hoping we might be able to pet them, but I guess petting was not encouraged.

Oh I did, and really enjoyed the ducks as well. It was a unique experience hanging out with them for a bit
