Like A Nightmare

Last night, I didn't sleep a wink. Last year, I had a really bad experience with some people at a church. I don't associate myself, with them anymore. Why, thr thoughts came, I have no idea, but I could not shake them. I have no desire to ever deal with them again. I am really tired, but I have to make some moves today. Have you ever had a bad experience visit you out of the blue, and lingers through the night. It was rough. Hope it never happens again.

Oh yes - that actually happens to me quite often. I know the past is the past, but sometimes these emotions just haunt us at times. Hopefully you will get better sleep tonight!

@popciclecold I totally know that feeling . . . hard to shake off when it creeps back . Fingers crossed that it all gets forgotten when you get to sleep!

Yes, I’ve had it. I was falsely accused of something at a job, and I literally could not sleep at all that night. It’s incredibly sad when it’s “church people” who turn out to be so vicious. I remember hearing a minister say, “How can you sit in here for an hour listening to God’s love, then try to kill one another trying to get out of the parking lot?” Point well taken. (Also, sadly, I saw an article — and I asked restaurant worker friends of mine and they confirmed it — that said the WORST crowds in a restaurant tend to be the Sunday after church people. Makes you wonder why they’re even going to church, doesn’t it.)

Yes, and I don't have no desire to be that way. So I lost them. Sorry you had to go through that.

I sometimes go over and over things that would be best forgotten about. I can understand how you feel.

It is a horrible feeling, at least I know I am not alone. It is really good to know, not that I wish that on anyone.

I had church women try to fix Jay up with his old girfriend. I was in California, helping my daughter&son-in-law, during the birth of their second child. Jay was mad, he hollered at the one lady and then, called to let me know. What a mean thing to do, trying to break up our marriage
