Hello, mylotters.
I have a confesion to share with you now.
Yesterday I made the grocery list as I did not have any eggs. I bought 36 so I imagine that they will last for some time.
Then I started to think about other groceries to buy because there is shipping to be paid too. I bought food for Luna and the usual (rice, onions, potatoes and the like).
And then temptation hit me!!!
I had been trying to buy a wonderful and small chocolate cake for a long time but it was out of stock. No wonder! It is very unexpensive.
And I did it! It was there and I clicked! Send me one, please!
The groceries will come in over an hour and I am only having a lemon tea while I wait for the cake. Only then I will have a giant brunch with maybe 2 pieces of cake
I hope that all this lasts me until the end of December. I will not have to buy groceries for Christmas or New Year as I am always invited.
Luna has enough food and if I don´t buy food online I will not have temptations on the way. I also bought some ice cream but did not buy the most expensive one.

@LadyDuck I´m sure the eggs I bought will last less than what I would want them to. I´m counting on Claudia to bring me some eggs from her hens. Now that it is summer, the hens are laying more.

@marguicha I like eggs and I also use eggs for the cakes I bake, they will not last long.

Now that I live alone, I can eat all the things I love. During the almost 50 years I was married, I could not cook chickenpeas, cauliflower or sea weed. He could not stand the smell

I already ate the first delicious piece. But I found out that I can´t eat too much all at once as I once did
So I put it back in the fridge and maybe I´ll eat another piece after my nap.

Most of the time supermarkets have big cakes for a party and I would not know what to do with them now. The last time I bought one of them was for the last party I gave before the covid.Now my life is so different that I only need small cakes. This cake is small so last year I bought one. I loved it. So I have been buying one of them from time to time until other people discovered them.

You don´t need much money to buy this cake. It is a small one.
