Oh Yes, the Big Reveal

I promised to reveal some exciting news today for those few of you who might be interested. My younger nephew is getting engaged! It is so funny, just last week Marilyn and I were discussing this, and wondering when and if it was going to happen, and now her grandson is engaged, and mine said he is formally proposing to his girl in the spring. They both want to do it, and he has even spoken to her family about it. He will also be relocating to Chicago where she is currently. She has a job with Motorola. They are both electrical engineers,(he had a dual systems engineering majory) and he will find a job there in the city or suburbs as well.

Yes, I thought it was cool. He said they probably won't actually get married until tentaviely 2025 though. My main concern is that I be invited to the wedding...
. I don't think they are the type to get married at the courthouse, at least I hope not..

@snowy22315 I hope they will have a nice marriage. My niece is pregnant with her second baby and she still does not talk about getting married.

Wow that really is exciting news to hear. It is funny how we were both talking about it and now we both have weddings to look forward to.

I hope so! There are no guarantees. I would be broken hearted if I didn't get to attend though, because who knows whether son is ever going to tie the knot, besides even if he does..who the heck knows when or where?

@snowy22315 I hope you get to enjoy the wedding you're so looking forward to. I really hope your son ties the knot at some point and that you'll be able to attend. It would be heart breaking if you couldn't.

Yes, well he is still isn't getting married soon, but engaged in a step in the right direction for sure. Plus they will be living together, so practically married already.

I hope so, we have a ways to wait for that...but they are planning on sharing an apartment when he moves to the city.
