Ready For Christmas

Still brings back precious memories of my childhood days - lights, gifts, carol singing etc.

You've got some nice paper stars there. I wonder where you've got them from? :-) If a German put up a Christmas tree already in November, the neighbours would inform the local loony bin. It's done only three or two days before Christmas Eve. Many families do it in the afternoon of 24th December. The trees remain standing until 6th January.

It is up and partially decorated. I will finish tomorrow I think. I have things to do today.

I put out two cards today I got from @Courtlynn and her mom today. I won’t be able to decorate this year as my home still isn’t done from when my husband started remodeling.

This space is so cosy and so nostalgic. Like the one in olden days. Very pretty I wish I could visit some friends for Christmas, sit by a fire place and read a book with hot chocolate. Does it snow where you live?

I usually only do candles for Christmas and maybe a few pinecones

It's good to see decorations appearing on the houses in our village. Some go to a lot of trouble. I'm afraid ours are pretty basic.

I have a tiny tree but I'll still have to find a place for the tree, II don't have any floor space. I might not put it up this year . but we'll see. Your's is pretty.

Yes, looking at Christmas decor gives me peace and joy. I start Christmas decorating December.
