What a clearance sale

Let's be honest, who doesn't like to see a decrease in sale value by 50%? We had a clearance sale in the nearest supermarket and I bought a few dresses, tops, eyeliner, rose powder, and some regular groceries. This will be like this the whole Christmas season. How does clearance sales work in your country?

We had discounted price the past Friday (Black Friday) and we will have again in January. Price are high during December, because people buy.

Clearance sales here are a way to get rid of outdated stuff or when a store is closing.
