Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 42 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. That is way too cold for me.
Work was quiet today which is always a good thing. One of my problem students cut herself out of my class which is fine with me. Fewer pink slips for me to write. She actually went missing and a police report was filed a couple of days ago. She definitely is going through something. I hope she can get some help before she puts herself in a bad situation.
The cleaning lady said that she would be here at 12:30 pm but she isn't here and it is now 2:30. I hope she is okay. She doesn't have a car and relies on others for rides. I'm assuming that it was some kind of issue with that. I didn't text her because I don't want to bother her if she really is having a problem.
I'm going to get going on the icing for the cupcakes for work. I am supposed to be making homemade strawberry jam but I'm cheating and using a jar from the store. I mean it says doing that is totally fine in the baking book but you guys know I'm such an overachiever in the kitchen.

I just got back from Dollar General and the post office. My sister's birthday is tomorrow, and I just got her card. I need to get that puppy in the mail, although it will still be late. I will send her an ecard tomorrow though and give her a call.

It's a little on the hot side, so I'll give you credit for the cold. You can have it. I just got sat down at the computer, myself, after having something to eat. I have some house chores to do, but I'll tackle those after I get a little work done. It's the first day of the month and I want to take advantage of the peace and quiet. George has been talking, for the last month, about fully quoting and living off retirement at the end of this year, start of next. So I'll take the time to myself when I can.

I hope your student and your cleaning lady are OK. I would have texted the cleaning lady. We had the guy here for the quote on the walk-in tub/shower as I said before.
