A Cold December Sunset

December brought in another cold day and it was full of sunshine. Just snapped this sunset from the deck at 4:30 pm. Shorter days this time of year.
I was looking at the clouds right above the sunset. They look almost crab shaped to me. It was frigid out, so I couldn't linger for long. But I managed to get a few photos.
The temperature is already down to 39 F. The stars and moon are out as well. Looks like another cold night ahead.
Time to warm up by the fireplace a few minutes. And then enjoy a nice hot bowl of soup. Have a good evening everyone.
Photo is mine.

It's a beautiful photo! You're colder than we are right now. We were at 51F this afternoon but the temp is already dropping here, too. It's 47F and heading for a predicted low of 26F tonight. (Clouds have been building up all day and they look nasty. The forecast says possible rain and then flurries tonight and tomorrow. Not looking forward to that!
I hope you enjoy your evening/night.

@CarolDM You're very welcome.
You know... I'd be happy to send my share of white stuff your direction if you'd like it?
Don't shoot me! I'm teasing!
Thanks.

@DaddyEvil No, I don't mind snow at all. I just stay inside and watch it fall. I am not like most on here about snow. I enjoy seeing it if I don't have to drive in it.

@rsa101 @Treborika This is due to the Daylight Savings Time change we are on this time of year. It will change back in the spring.

@CarolDM Same here. It's warm all this week, so I don't think we'll be seeing a long Winter.

Very interesting picture that goes along with this post. Thank you for sharing this with us even though it was cold out and you could not stay out long. That was so nice that you wanted to sharing the sunset with us. A hot bowl of soup sounds good on a cold night. I hope you are warm now.

Your sunset certainly is beautiful. It got cold here overnight and the heat came on a few times but we have sunshine today and I don't think it's going to be too cold.

Lovely photo. We have s**w on the ground; but it should be warm enough tomorrow to melt.

@LindaOHio No boosters for me. Not enough evidence of efficacy. Just my opinion. Take care.

Lovely photo. Back in Latvia, we had the brightest sunsets in the winter. The days might be gray, but then those sunsets were awesome.

You remind me of the olden days whereby we sat around the fireplace for keeping ourselves warm while listening to oldest stories narrated to us by our grand pa lol! What memorable events these was!
