Today's scam email.

So who are their victims? Old people? People who speak English as a second or third language?
And what are they after? Email addresses? Do they ask for sensitive information? I don't have the "balls" to check.
I have joked about going to work for these scammers in the past. Why can't they find native English speakers who could write a convincing scam/spam email?
I would not sell my soul to the devil, or write scam emails. But I WOULD write a song for Brittney Spears or Kanye West if there were enough money involved. I would just use a "nom de plume" to maintain my reputation as The Horse.
In any case, here is today's scam email. Do you know people who might fall for this?
Aha! They "coded" it so I could not cut and paste it.
Trust me. It was poorly written and not very convincing. Should I delete this post? Could the "text" corrupt my computer, or even MyLot? @GoAskAlice--what do you think?

@marguicha It' odd. For awhile I could get to some sites (sometimes), but not MyLot. My new modem is still "doing the job."

I got a strange e-mail today, basically telling me they are my friend. Why? I simply deleted it.

What ever it is they are up to no good. The problem is that some people fall for spam and it just keeps proliferating over the random people who get taken in.

Doesn't translate. But, then again doesn't surprise me. Likely a script they copy and paste into thousands of e-mails.

I wonder sometimes why the scammers keep bothering but I guess they make a quid out of it somewhere.
