Gas prices down yet again in Northern California.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, so I'll keep this brief. When I drove by my gas station, gas prices had dropped another ten cents since the day before. Regular is now $4.29/gallon. The pumps were down yesterday for some kind of inspection, but I stopped inside to buy some smokes. The manager, with whom I am friendly, was there, so I asked her if she knew why gas prices were dropping. She said they used to tell her, but now she has no clue. Maybe I'll top off my tank today. Are gas prices sliding where you live? Note: I (almost) promise my next post will be more interesting. Photo is of what I hope our hills will look like soon. It rained again last night. Moo.

Gas Buddy says regular gas here in my city is $2.77/gallon. I'll need to fill up either today or in the morning. We have to drive to Joplin for a doctor appointment for Pretty. (The doctor in Joplin is around 55 miles from our house.) At least the whole drive is on the Interstate.

@TheHorse Not during the Winter. In any other time of year, yes, beautiful scenery. We used to go driving just to go driving... Gas prices keep us from doing that now.

@DaddyEvil What do things look like now? What kinds of fields? In Iowa we had lots of corn and soy bean fields. And stinky pig farms.

@TheHorse - When we went out grocery shopping yesterday, it was "only" 1.95 CHF (US $2.07) per liter. There are 3.78 liters in one gallon. That means that our gasoline costs $ 7.82 per gallon. Well it's down from the more than $ 8 per gallon. I told to my husband to fill up, they voted another sanction against the Russian gasoline yesterday, the price will go up soon.

@LadyDuck I was wondering whether the Russia situation continued to screw European drivers. You answered my question.

How high is it there per litre? I know it's only approximate, but I multiply litres by four to get gallons. I'd have to check again to see if a litre is slightly more or slightly less than our "quart."

I think they are pretty stable where I live. Then again I can't speak for the more touristy areas.

@TheHorse Yeah. More demand, so even when oil prices are low prices remain high. They know people will pay it, and they get more than enough volume.

I wonder what is causing it. Shouldn't demand go up as the Holidays approach?

@TheHorse it's really weird I would have thought prices would either be going up or staying the same but whatever the reason I'm happy it's going down

Well, I didn't look today, but our prices have been slowly dropping. $3.50 is a good price for gas! My ex paid me a visit, thus his girlfriend broke all my records! (we were still married) Your discussion is a lot more interesting than my stupid lunch post, a bowl of cornflakes

The price of gas is expected to fall to the lowest level in a year with a 2 cent drop Thursday. Most stations in Niagara and the GTHA will be selling a litre of regular for 138.9.

I don't think so. I'm sure the gas prices are still the same. But I don't know about other parts of the country. I hope the prices would drop, so good would be less expensive too.

Do you know where most of the gas comes from in the Philippines? I forget!

Moooo-ving right along….. Our gas is a dollar cheaper than yours. It’s between $3.29 and $3.49, depending on what part of town I’m in. And cheaper outside of Louisville.

It always seems to be more expensive in/near the big cities. I forgot to ask Jerry what it is in Montana right now. Moo.

At most places here, it's $3.29 a gallon. That's down a bit from where it was.

Not too bad. Heh. Happy cows make me happy. They graze in our hills during the Spring months.
