Bob enjoys instant hot cocoa, and it is actually better for him than coffee, because it has more calories and less caffeine.
I was browsing something online and found a recipe for instant hot cocoa mix. I happened to have all ingredients available here at home. I also tweaked it just a little to suit our taste.
Bob says it is much better than Swiss Miss, which he actually loves.
I like to make home made mixes for things and this was very easy to do.

My daughter and I are currently hooked on the Swiss Miss white hot chocolate. Usually I don't like too much hot chocolate and have never tried to make my own. Glad you found a recipe for Bob so he can enjoy his hot chocolate rather than coffee

I find the commercial hot chocolate too sweet. I much prefer cocoa with just a bit of sugar and creamer.

@Marilynda1225 I do this time by time, this is called "mocaccino" in Italy if you want to order it at a café.

Yes, it certainly is I think when I made this in the past it was much more labor intensive.

The cocoa I used in this mix was a Nestle's brand. It goes with powdered sugar, instant milk, and powdered creamer to make the mix. Hershey's makes a lovely dark chocolate cocoa powder.

Use 2C confectioners sugar or powdered sugar, 2C instant milk or powdered milk, I cup unsweetened cocoa powder (Dutch process is darker) and I changed it up by adding 1 cup powdered vanilla creamer. Use 1/2 C mix to 1/2 C hot water. Stir well.
